Mbeya Fraternal 2005

A joint ecclesial gathering is held in the Mwanjelwa Ecclesia hall in Mbeya City each year.

This year the day consisted of

  • the baptism of bro Gabriel,
  • the memorial meeting (exhortation in Kiswahili by bro Carl, plus bread and wine),
  • followed by a meal
  • and then a talk on 1 Timothy 4 by bro Geoff translated by bro Jonathon.

Aprox 50 bros, sis, interested friends attended, representing 4 of the 6 Mbeya region ecclesias.
First Bible talk takes place in Kiswahili
This year bro Carl Hinton delivered the first Bible talk in Kiswahili by a
Mazungo (Kiswahili for a white foreigner) in South Tanzania.
